The Chief Instructor at Aikido Tentokai Xalapa is Sensei Oleg Gorfinkel, who currently holds the rank of 5th dan, certified by Aikikai Hombu Dojo in Tokyo, Japan, as well as the title of Shidoin (Certified Instructor) within the American Aikikai Federation (AAF) and the Mexican Aikido Federation. Oleg started his Aikido practice in Toronto, Canada, in 1988, and has since trained under a number of outstanding senseis in Canada, Mexico and the United States. He began to teach Aikido in 1993, finding in it his heart's path, which continues to this day. In the year 2000, Oleg returned to Mexico, settling down in Xalapa, Veracruz, and establishing Aikido Tentokai.
